Miley Virus – At It Again

ImageMiley Cyrus’ latest attempt at relevancy sees her team up with pervy hasbeen, Terry “Uncle Terry” Richardson. The attention-seeking irritant stars in the video for her new song ‘Wrecking Ball’ which, predictably, also features a wrecking ball. We know that Miley Cyrus isn’t afraid to fetishise pretty much anything, and when she touched herself with a huge rubber hand at The VMAs, it bordered on surreal. So maybe it’s not actually that strange that she is still being a bit bothersome towards inanimate objects – this time Cyrus appears to be sexually harassing a building site.

First, she gets off with a sledgehammer…Miley Cyrus Kissing Sledgehammer Miley Cyrus Terry Richardson Miley Cyrus Tongue Miley Cyrus NailsAfter that, Miley strips down to her dusty boots and straddles the wrecking ball like some kind of sex swing.MIley Cryus Wrecking Ball New Miley Cyrus VideoI reckon that the shots of her dry humping a cement mixer and groping a forklift truck must have been cut from the final edit. Fortunately, they left in the bit where Miley slaps herself in the face – think that’s her trying to come across as a bit mental and ‘complex’, kind of like what Kate Nash is always trying to do.

Black Pudding MacaWRONGs!

ImageBelieve it or not, those delectable looking treats in the picture above aren’t dark chocolate macarons. They are actually black pudding macarons by Jane Russell, of Jane Russell’s Original Irish Handmade Sausages. I adore macarons, and I probably love black pudding even more, but I’m just not sure about putting the two of them together! It’s such a bizarre combination; I’d definitely want to try it if I got the chance.

Tyler The Creator Directs Mountain Dew Ad

ImageNo, seriously. Tyler, the Creator has directed and starred in an ad for Mountain Dew. It gets weirder, though – he voices a female goat called Felicia…a really violent goat, who gets some kind of hallucinogenic kick out of drinking Mountain Dew.

Creepy Panda Hotel Is Creepy.

Panda Hotel PianoPanda Hotel BedroomThere is something quite uncanny about these photos of a panda-themed hotel that opened in 2011 in Hong Kong. The way that these panda mascots are just casually inserted into the hotel’s plush interior gives a chilling, eerie feel to these otherwise dull press shots. These characters could be a sinister mix of the Scream killer, that rabbit from Donnie Darko and Pedobear! The idea of this hotel definitely doesn’t appeal to me, although it is probably more targeted towards families with children.
Also, my thoughts on these images might have been significantly influenced by this hilarious Egyptian campaign for Panda cheese…

Fantasy Man Generator

Fantasy Man GeneratorSmile Makers, the manufacturers of cutesy sex toys named after traditionally desirable male stereotypes (‘The Millionaire’, ‘The Fireman’, you get the idea…) have created this microsite which allows you to create a ‘fantasy man’ and put him in a ‘fantasy setting’ and then, um…email him to your friends? The whole exercise feels a little pointless, but I suppose it’s just a bit of promotional fun.Bateman FantasyI ended up half-heartedly making this, so I suppose it means that I’m subconsciously attracted to Patrick Bateman types, which is kind of soul crushing. Actually…doesn’t this guy remind you of Scott Disick? Oh dear.
I guess, it could be worse, when this is an option…CreepyYep, that’s right, it’s the sweaty anorak-wearing weirdo who’s often in your local Spar. Except he’s now wearing animal print underpants and he’s ready for action on, presumably, an 8-year-old girl’s bed. What the fuck?

Wanna Pee Old School?

Strange Spanish Sailor Jerry AdvertI can only assume that something’s been lost in translation with this Spanish print advert by Draft FCBΒ Madrid. Either that, or I’ve got my priorities wrong – when I choose a drink, I’m usually more concerned about how it tastes…

Guardian Jobs

Weird Guardian Jobs advertNice one, Guardian Jobs. This is exactly what I want from a potential job – hatred from my friends. I was actually considering a career as an estate agent or a traffic warden, but this one is so much more ‘me’!
