Seeds Of Love

Listen to this amazing new offering from two members of London-based outfit, Storm Cat. Lead singer (and my occasional DJing partner-in-crime) George Runciman lent his songwriting talents and vocals to drummer Sitrling Mitchell’s side project, and this is what happened!

It just exudes nineties-ish British cool, when dance music and guitar bands were both incredibly popular, and spawning some really innovative collaborations. It sounds like a track I could have heard in my childhood, listening enviously to the Glastonbury coverage or watching The Brit Awards.

The whole song is so effortlessly genre-spanning, that it possesses the laid-back urban cool of this, mixed in with the euphoria of this, with the raw passion and adrenaline of this added in for good measure. That sounds slightly contradictory, but you’ve got to hear it to believe it!
